IMPORTANT NOTE: For diagrams of flux recovery system configurations, see the “Heavy Duty”
section of your catalog and look in the Technical Bulletin “TB-MM708,” or call us for engineering
assistance. (Ask us to send you the “TB-MM708” if it is not available to you.)
11. PFR-HAMX-3000 HEATED FLUX HOPPER/SEPARATOR AND PRESSURE
FEED SYSTEM.
The PFR-HAMX-3000-H100-100 is a heated (control up to 250°F {121°C})
flux hopper/separator and pressure feed system. The top hopper/separator
has two 50 pound capacity sections, one for recovered flux and one for
new flux. Flux from each of these two sections mix together at a preset ratio
as the flux is transferred into the 100 lb pressure tank. Each section
features a high and low level sight window to monitor the amount of flux in
the unit. The PFR-HAMX-3000 is very useful for sub-arc welding when code
requires a specific percentage of new flux to be mixed with recovered flux.
(See pg. 64, item 12 {MAGSEP-2} for optional magnetic separator.) (Please
consult factory for larger tank/hopper combinations.)
Input power: 115v/1ph/50-60hz
Input power: 220v/1ph/50-60hz
ELECTRONIC FLUX LEVEL SENSOR:
Optional electronic high or low flux level sensor is available to sense flux level
of pressure tank or flux hopper. When flux level is low (or high; based on
your requirements), a loud audible alarm and flashing light on control panel
will signal operator. (See pages 38 - 39 for sensor options and pricing.)
OPTIONAL FTV-3000 and AV-3000-NS AUTOMATIC FLUX TRANSFER
VALVE.........NEW PRODUCT!
Please see page 71 and 72 for details. 115V/1PH/60-50HZ
(Other voltages available upon request. Consult factory for pricing.)
**Please note, the PFR-HAMX-3000 flux pressure feed and recovery system is now manufactured with an
internal flux cone. This cone allows complete draining of all flux out of the tank. There is no stagnant area
in the tank from which flux will not flow out of the tank.
