PRESSURE FEED AND RECOVERY SYSTEMS
1. PFR-3 (ELECTRIC POWERED), PFR-3-A/P OR SUPER-PFR-3-A/P (AIR POWERED) FLUX RECOVERY
SYSTEM.
The PFR-3 System pressure-feeds and recovers unfused
submerged arc flux in one complete, closed system. The
system is completely portable and can be used with any wire
feeder/power source combination suitable for submerged arc
welding (does not include welding gun). The PFR-3 (electric)
comes with 15 ft. of recovery hose, the PFR-3-A/P (air pow-
ered) with 10 ft. of recovery hose and the SUPER-PFR-3-A/P
(air powered) comes with 15 ft. of recovery hose. All units
come with 60 lb. pressure feed tank, NZ-1 pick-up nozzle, and
20 ft. of pressure feed hose (1/2", 3/4”, or 1” I.D.) - ready to
use! (For different hose lengths please consult factory.) Note:
PFR-3 (electric) also requires 60-100 psi of compressed air @
approximately 2 - 3 cfm for pressure feeding flux.
A. PFR-3 Electric
Input power: 115v/1ph/50-60hz/9 amps
B. PFR-3 Electric
Input power: 220v/1ph/50-60hz/4.5 amps
C. PFR-3-A/P Air Powered
Input power: Shop air (70-100 psi @ approx. 8 cfm,
using minimum 1/4" I.D. air hose).
D. SUPER-PFR-3-A/P Air Powered
Input power: Shop air (70-100 psi @ approx. 14 cfm,
using minimum 1/4" I.D. air hose.)
**Please note, the PFR-3 pressure feed and recovery system is now manufactured with an internal flux cone.
This flux cone allows complete draining of all flux out of the tank. There is no stagnant area in the tank,
from which flux will not flow out of the tank.
The PFR-3 is available without undercarriage and larger pressure tank for boom mounting. Please consult factory for
exact pricing to meet your specifications.
IMPORTANT NOTE
24v control circuit for on/off pendant is available for AS-4, PS-2, LPFR-3 and PFR-3.
